tumblr bores me these days. But I hope you all are doing great and listening to the phish. I am going to see them at SPAC on july 6th if any of you are going!
Phish - “Waves” (5/26/11 - Bethel Tech Rehearsal)
28 minutes of beautiful, exploratory music! From the Bitches Brew-era Miles Davis textures in the middle to the serene Sigur Ros vibe at the end (think “Olsen Olsen”), this jam goes places, my friends. All while remaining uniquely Phishy.
If you’re a phan and you have yet to listen to this, it’s a must-hear! But even fans of music in general can appreciate this. Whoever you are, just find some good speakers or headphones, throw this on, and enjoy!

Here is a song by another favorite band of mine. They don’t sound like Phish, but they are really good. You 7 people that follow me should give it a listen.
I have decided just to mainly post awesome videos, not just of phish. This is one from Joey DeFrancesco, probably the best jazz keyboardist ever. There is so much power in this track, everything you hear is a giant build up all until the end. Only one way to do it with jazz, live.
